Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, The Beatles's Takis Koutsos got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Takis Koutsos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 7th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Takis Koutsos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, The Beatles's Takis Koutsos got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Takis Koutsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takis Koutsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 17th minute of play. Takis Koutsos made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Takis Koutsos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Takis Koutsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Reinaldo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, The Beatles's Takis Koutsos got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, The Beatles's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Takis Koutsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after The Beatles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Takis Koutsos quite easily take care of the ball. In the 32nd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Doru Lițu sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Beatles's Arthur Simão got a free kick in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doru Lițu to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Simões in the 51st minute of the match. Róbson Simões struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Beatles. In the 56th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doru Lițu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Simões came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Simões in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Beatles's goalkeeper Takis Koutsos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doru Lițus short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Takis Koutsos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Gust Ennemans threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Beatles's Arthur Simão quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Brodel got free with Arnout Reekers in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeca Brodel went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The The Beatles supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Beatles would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
