In the 14th minute Kristian Ottaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristian Ottaway's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Carl Houghton took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 23 minutes of play, Henley on Thames United's Carl Houghton made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Edgar Iovanovici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 30thth minute of the game Edgar Iovanovici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Iovanovici, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Carl Houghton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Carl Houghton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant Sherwood in the 43rd minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Kristian Ottaway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8.

In the 51st minute, Kristian Ottaway fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vavrinec Holub, passed just outside the right post. Kristian Ottaway kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Carl Houghton sent off a good shot on target. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Ottaway in the 59th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Edgar Iovanovici sent off a good shot on target. Erik Jilek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Iovanovici who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Vavrinec Holub when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Grant Sherwood sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Bohumir Kohout. Edgar Iovanovici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. After 73 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Turecek. Edgar Iovanovicis short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Vavrinec Holub to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 81 minutes Czech Republic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Grant Sherwood who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Vitek's late challenge caught a Henley on Thames United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Vitek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Carl Houghton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Henley on Thames United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. In the 88th minute, Henley on Thames United's Kristian Ottaway dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Kris Tetley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vavrinec Holub. The goal made the score 0-11. When the match was over Henley on Thames United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Czech Republic throughout the match.
