In the 5th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodor Coșereanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodor Coșereanu skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute, Diguinho Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Eugen Cârnu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. InglouriousBastards's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Cârnu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Coșereanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after InglouriousBastards's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. In the 30th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teodor Coșereanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Coșereanu having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marko Helander sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the InglouriousBastards defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodor Coșereanu. The InglouriousBastards fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodor Coșereanu should have stopped the shot. InglouriousBastards's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diguinho Breckenfeld in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on InglouriousBastards's corner Diguinho Breckenfeld fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mihăiţă Benga made the kick off in the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Teodor Coșereanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Teodor Coșereanu made a huge save. When Marko Helander came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the InglouriousBastards fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Helander couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Coșereanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodor Coșereanu. Teodor Coșereanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 61 minutes into the match, InglouriousBastards's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Teodor Coșereanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Teodor Coșereanu managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodor Coșereanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Benga in the 66th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Teodor Coșereanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Mihăiţă Benga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodor Coșereanu having to make a save. In the 81st minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teodor Coșereanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 88th match minute, InglouriousBastards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Benga to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than InglouriousBastards.
