In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rab 谢霆锋 hit a great ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Nerd Herd's Enzo Noce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo Noce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Marian Banas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Marian Banas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Noce. The Nerd Herd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Enzo Noce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Portugal's Viriato Moura fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Enzo Noce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Andrade came free, but Enzo Noce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Noce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 38th minute of the game Laurits Nyheim made a throw-in which Marian Banas played forward. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odysseas Lagidis during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Portugal booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odysseas Lagidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Noce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Marian Banas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Nerd Herd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Banas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Banas in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute The Nerd Herd were awarded a corner. Odysseas Lagidis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Odysseas Lagidis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. The The Nerd Herd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portugal were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Banas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Banas came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Marian Banas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Marian Banas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Di Zhen Guo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The The Nerd Herd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portugal's performance. The match ended with a win for Portugal.
