Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Michael Wirinckx started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Binjamin Ketelers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SK Dreigoten's Marcos Díaz. Marcos Díaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Díaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. Marcos Díaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Díaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Marcos Díaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Díaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathieu Toussain during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Toussain. Marcos Díaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Díaz. That made the score 5-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 39th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Díaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaaf Groeneveldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Emilio Cimino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Dreigoten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Emilio Cimino hit a great ball. Robben Vanden Bossche made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Marcos Díaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Díaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marcos Díaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Marcos Díaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Dreigoten's Marcos Díaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Dreigoten's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
