A collision led to The Obscurials getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cliff Rowden hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Lyle to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Anders Westerstrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, The Obscurials's Safet Hands got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Walmir Tasso got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Hegedus Henrik came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hegedus Henrik couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Safet Hands in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Bakos Endre with Major Barna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 45th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakos Endre to maneuver through the defense. After the first half The Obscurials were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Ribeiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. Adriano Ribeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Fodor Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After taking down the ball on The Obscurials's corner Cliff Rowden fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Kevin Lyle hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Adriano Ribeiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes into the match, Adriano Ribeiro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anders Westerstrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Westerstrand ran back to his position shaking his head. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 83rd minute of play. After 86 minutes, Szekeres Tamas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the The Obscurials players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Safet Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Adriano Ribeiro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel.
