In the 28th minute Gottfrid Brovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Luis Neto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. The supporters of Hungary booed when Auktsjaur IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Auktsjaur IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. When Gunther Stub came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Auktsjaur IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunther Stub couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunther Stub in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Auktsjaur IF's Gunther Stub got a free kick in the 64th minute. Gunther Stubs short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Antal Valentin scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Henriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Frodyma in the 72nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patryk Frodyma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Jan-Åke Hedström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auktsjaur IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Hedström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Vörös Henrik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Auktsjaur IF the free kick. Vörös Henrik hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match.
