Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heikki Räsänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Takacs Tibor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Botvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Heikki Räsänen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes Botvik FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Hungary's Takacs Tibor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heikki Räsänen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard shot 17 in the game by Usko Äijälä from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Usko Äijälä kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Botvik FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Heikki Räsänen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when Botvik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo-Enrique Cabañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antti Kokkonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Botvik FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Botvik FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heikki Räsänen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Usko Äijälä was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Hungary booed when Botvik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Usko Äijälä didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Usko Äijälä in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heikki Räsänen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hegedus Henrik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heikki Räsänen having to make a save. Botvik FC's Nik Nicola was substituted for Aadolf Ylimäki. Heikki Räsänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 70th minute of play. Heikki Räsänen made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Botvik FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heikki Räsänen quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Botvik FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Lütfü Şems hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heikki Räsänen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
