With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Kingpins's Rickard Lundgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bo Kruuse sent off a good shot on target. Bo Kruuse in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bo Kruuse let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 24th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 27th minute. If Rickard Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bo Kruuse sent off a good shot on target. Bo Kruuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Kruuse ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Kingpins's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Ogazón in the 41st minute. After 42 minutes, Albin Holweck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Kingpins players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. After having played for 43 minutes, Rickard Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingpins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 53rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Rickard Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kingpins's Bo Kruuse in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Leblanc having to interfere. If Nils-Emil Ahlstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brendan Leblanc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After taking down the ball on Kingpins's corner Emanuel Ogazón fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roger Västerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goalkeeper Brendan Leblanc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. When Kingpins's Bo Kruuse in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Kruuse in the 89th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Kingpins players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
