Kenneth Biörkquist came out of the goal and Rodrigo von Känel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Maurer in the 17th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuele Kunz in the 20th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Biörkquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Fredriksson in the 40th minute of play. Bloodthirsty FC's Håkan Viklund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gustav Iseli, made in the 46th minute of the game. Gustav Iseli charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Iseli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Gustav Iseli got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Samuele Kunz made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Kenneth Biörkquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuele Kunz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Biörkquist having to interfere. When Tomas Norberg fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Tomas Norberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Norberg. If Samuele Kunz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bloodthirsty FC's Kenneth Biörkquist got control of the ball when Samuele Kunz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Maurer struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Kenneth Biörkquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Switzerland. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Fredriksson in the 77th minute of the match. If Håkan Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svante Petersson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute.
