Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Stiinta-Univ.'s Okan Koc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stiinta-Univ.'s Shi Ming Sheng got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Martin Crețu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 10th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Stiinta-Univ.'s corner Aurel Panait fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Okan Koc in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 16th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Martin Crețu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Koc in the 18th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Panait in the 19th minute of the match. When Stiinta-Univ.'s Aurel Panait in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Martin Crețu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 25th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Martin Crețu threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute, Viriato Moura had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Antoni Kachamakov's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antoni Kachamakov helped the player get up and apologised. Portugal made a substitution. Gustavo Matos replaced Viriato Moura. Antoni Kachamakov hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Vágner Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Portugal's Gustavo Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Crețu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 54th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. 58 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stiinta-Univ. the free kick. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Okan Koc got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Okan Koc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Shi Ming Sheng reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 67th minute, Viteazul Flore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stiinta-Univ.'s Șerban Rușanu was substituted for Virgil Oargă. Stiinta-Univ.'s Muhammet Altın was substituted for Aurel Panait. Shi Ming Sheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Vágner Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shi Ming Sheng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The corner led Stiinta-Univ.'s Vágner Vargas to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Shi Ming Sheng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shi Ming Sheng really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Stiinta-Univ. played a much better game than Portugal and deserved their victory. The Portugal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
