A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cantera Leales Sin Pagar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
