Garaona Camino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 13 minutes on the clock, Egbert Nijveldt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Puerto de Sagunto CF:s goal. Arnout Reekers had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Maximiano Caballero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garaona Camino. Garaona Camino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 31 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garaona Camino having to interfere. Garaona Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 38th minute of the match. Garaona Camino didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Ekaitz Jorquera suffered a concussion in the 44th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 44 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the Puerto de Sagunto CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tito Marrero. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiano Caballero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Maximiano Caballero in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Garaona Camino in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 59th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Garaona Camino. That made the score 0-5 after 63 minutes of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Garaona Camino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. David Eikelkamp was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Wim Wilmes had several of the Puerto de Sagunto CF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Garaona Camino as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 72 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garaona Camino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garaona Camino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tito Marrero's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiano Caballero came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Garaona Camino. The goal made the score 0-8. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telesforo De Paula during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Telesforo De Paula hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Puerto de Sagunto CF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Epifanio Pascua hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Garaona Camino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Garaona Camino to make any attempt to save it. 90 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Puerto de Sagunto CF's Garaona Camino. Garaona Camino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Puerto de Sagunto CF! Gijsbert ter Kruimer walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 98th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
