Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Hoberg United's Ralph Dik got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hoberg United's Ralph Dik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralph Dik was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralph Dik. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Ralph Dik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ralph Dik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ralph Dik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph Dik. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 24 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ralph Dik. Lars Meesters showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Dik. Ralph Dik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Ralph Dik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 32 minute of play. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralph Dik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 37th minute of play. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ralph Dik came out and tried to block the shot, but Wim Wilmes slotted it home off the left post making it 8-0 in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Lars Meesters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralph Dik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 44th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Dik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stuart Kaad to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralph Dik saved Hoberg United from getting behind. Hoberg United's Ralph Dik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Dik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Hoberg United defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralph Dik. The Hoberg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralph Dik should have stopped the shot. Ralph Dik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Wilmes's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph Dik. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hoberg United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hoberg United's Ralph Dik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Dik. Ralph Dik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. 77 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralph Dik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralph Dik was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. After having played for 85 minutes, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Meesters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralph Dik came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. 92 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph Dik. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. In the 95th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Ralph Dik. Hoberg United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. Netherlands's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
