Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute Sebastian Toacsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavius Ferenț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 6th minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Rasnita's Flavius Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Alex Cunea sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Portugal's Viriato Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavius Ferenț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Cunea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rareș Vanghelie hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Felipe Barreto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavius Ferenț showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavius Ferenț. Felipe Barreto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavius Ferenț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Flavius Ferenț made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Rasnita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cunea in the 67th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Toacsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bartolomeu Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavius Ferenț was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cunea in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rasnita fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
