Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Ayat Sungkawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 14th minute of play forced Jakarta Wolf SC's goalkeeper Ayat Sungkawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Wiliam Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jakarta Wolf SC's Anibal Feo. Syahrul Pattinasarani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakarta Wolf SC's Ayat Sungkawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute, Jakarta Wolf SC's Wiliam Porto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute Wiliam Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayat Sungkawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Wiliam Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egbert Nijveldt in the 64th minute of play forced Jakarta Wolf SC's goalkeeper Ayat Sungkawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathijn Doctor got free with Ayat Sungkawa in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 70th minute. Wiliam Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ayat Sungkawa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Ayat Sungkawa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 80th minute of play. Haji Lycik hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayat Sungkawa having to interfere. Jakarta Wolf SC's Ayat Sungkawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Porto in the 89th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
