Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Battal Gazi Bey made the kick off which started today's match. Chris Mergenthaler made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Inko Colillas. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Battal Gazi Bey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey. But to his dismay, Battal Gazi Bey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 24th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fran Guerola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Adriano Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Battal Gazi Bey sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sílvio Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Klaus Pichler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Mergenthaler in the 52 minute of the game. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Battal Gazi Bey in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Battal Gazi Bey notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Battal Gazi Bey went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fran Guerola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Battal Gazi Bey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Battal Gazi Bey's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Battal Gazi Bey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Battal Gazi Bey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Battal Gazi Bey took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 88th minute, Adriano Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's attentive Caetano Valladares managed to snatch the ball when Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. After having played for 92 minutes, Battal Gazi Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Gazi Bey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S O B E R A N O CIMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
