Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Concetto Chelodi kicked off to start the match. When Concetto Chelodi came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Esquadrão Lusitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Chelodi couldn't finish the play. Edwin Almodovar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Edwin Almodovar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Almodovar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Alexandre Figueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquadrão Lusitano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. After 28 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Figueira. 35 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Almodovar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edwin Almodovar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Artur Henriques got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Concetto Chelodi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 1-0. Casper Claes stood somewhat misplaced when Concetto Chelodi came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 55th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Edwin Almodovar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin Almodovar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 60th minute of the match. Belgium's Siebe Michiels was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edwin Almodovar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Esquadrão Lusitano's Edwin Almodovar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Esquadrão Lusitano from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edwin Almodovar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Esquadrão Lusitano's Edwin Almodovar got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Edwin Almodovar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Esquadrão Lusitano's Everton Cebollero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Everton Cebollero fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquadrão Lusitano's protests and gave Everton Cebollero a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Esquadrão Lusitano's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Almodovar came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Edwin Almodovar made a huge save. The corner ended in Edward Vanderstraeten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Edwin Almodovar did a great save. With a little luck, Esquadrão Lusitano's Edwin Almodovar got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esquadrão Lusitano.
