With a little luck, Longchamps club's Sergio Longhi got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Janik Vogt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Longchamps club the free kick. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Longchamps club. Oscar Intxixu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 0-1. Sergio Longhi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Sergio Longhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Germany were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Longchamps club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergio Longhi quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when Longchamps club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Longchamps club's Sergio Longhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Longchamps club from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Germany's Albin Holweck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Longhi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Eriberto Maiorga notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Longchamps club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 34th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Maiorga to make the kick off. Cleto Dayam took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sergio Longhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Intxixu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maiorga in the 57th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Intxixu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Longhi saved Longchamps club from getting behind. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sergio Longhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Oscar Intxixu fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Longchamps club's protests and gave Oscar Intxixu a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Longchamps club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
