After taking down the ball on JELINEBERG's corner Anton Linqvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, JELINEBERG's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Paolo Azuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tercero Imperiale in the 16th minute of play. In the 26th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Azuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JELINEBERG's Paolo Azuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of play. The long shot by Tor Skytt in the 35th minute really tested Arnout Reekers's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paolo Azuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paolo Azuela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 65th minute. Tercero Imperiale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, JELINEBERG's Nils Bergendahl got a free kick in the 77th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Wim Wilmes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Azuela was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Wim Wilmes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 87 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. Paolo Azuela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Azuela saved JELINEBERG from getting behind. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tercero Imperiale went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but JELINEBERG were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
