Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mirco Maier made the kick off and thus started the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirco Maier in the 3rd minute of the match. Mel Ecker took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Mirco Maier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Schilder in the 18th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Mel Ecker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Hansjörg Görlitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Lübke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Olaf Lübke. SC Otten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirco Maier, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Olaf Lübke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Olaf Lübke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olaf Lübke came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Sachs slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 85th minute. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Olaf Lübke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Rolf Pretzer got a free kick in the 90th minute. Donny Rebell kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olaf Lübke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Germany walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
