Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Oskitz in the 8th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Bruno Oskitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Inter Porteño's goalkeeper Peyo Menendez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Oskitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Inter Porteño's Montez Freire was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peyo Menendez. Peyo Menendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peyo Menendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Portugal booed when Inter Porteño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. Peyo Menendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Peyo Menendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Inter Porteño's Peyo Menendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Oskitz was the one to do the kick off. Peyo Menendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 51st minute of play. Alberto Albertman kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Inter Porteño got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Zapico. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hélder Gomes, made in the 69th minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Felipinho Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Peyo Menendez. Inter Porteño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Porteño's Bruno Oskitz. But to his dismay, Bruno Oskitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Lastur Sabina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Porteño's Bruno Oskitz. But to his dismay, Bruno Oskitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Porteño's zone, Daniel Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peyo Menendez came out of the goal and Daniel Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, Inter Porteño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Albertman to maneuver through the defense.
