Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Man Fish made a huge save. In the 5th minute, Hao Fan Yong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Man Fish made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Man Fish in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Angelo Quintela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. With a little luck, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Man Fish got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Man Fish. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Man Fish played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 58th minute of play. If Shi Yuan Qi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Tilea in the 69th minute of the match. Man Fish stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Man Fish having to make a save. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Angelo Quintela sent off a good shot on target. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Quintela in the 86th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Mikael Häll got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Man Fish. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 93rd minute Maxim Tilea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belgium had won after a very even match.
