When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Omar Toledo sped through FC MeHigh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Frankfurter. In the 7th minute, Spain's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aydın Tor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aydın Tor in the 15th minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Traian Curuțiu in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC MeHigh's zone, Omar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Frankfurter came out of the goal and Omar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Omar Toledo got free in front of the goal in the 24th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Frank Frankfurter was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 27 minutes FC MeHigh's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Toledo who took care of the corner kick. Spain's Jonathan Criado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frank Frankfurter in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 28th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Dos Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Aydın Tor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Dos Reis came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Criado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adria Bielsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC MeHigh's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 50th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Curuțiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. FC MeHigh's Frank Frankfurter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC MeHigh from getting a goal against them. Omar Toledo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frank Frankfurter firmly grabbed it by the left post. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Spain were awarded a corner. Omar Toledo went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aydın Tor in the 74th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Dos Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Zé Dos Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Ferrandis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Matias Ferrandis hit a great ball.
