Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Aloísio da Costa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ique Football Club's Dé Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Osvaldinho Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honrio Carretero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 26th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Dé Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Eikelkamp struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Dé Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. 34 minutes into the game, Aloísio da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 47th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Dé Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gijsbert ter Kruimer to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Honrio Carretero came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Valle in the 78th minute of play. Dé Andrade was a little too slow when Wim Wilmes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-3. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dé Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Dé Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Yaseen Bo Hamad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Andrade having to interfere. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
