Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomáš Malý in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by France's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 25th minute Erik Žitňár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Žitňár in the 25th minute of the match. Ján Tuleja was a little too slow when Frank Peletier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. Frank Peletier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ján Tuleja firmly grabbed it by the left post. Matej Adamec hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Robert Chapuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Peletier in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ján Tuleja, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The audience was convinced that Matej Adamec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Ján Tuleja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. FC Melon's Jaromír Mojžiš was substituted for Lukáš Hučka. When Martin Kudlak fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Melon's protests and gave Martin Kudlak a yellow card for diving instead. France's Bruno Gaubert was substituted for Frank Peletier. The supporters of France booed when FC Melon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Kudlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Barbier struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ján Tuleja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. FC Melon succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though France had controlled the match.
