The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Pierre-Loup Berthelot in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, SÜVEYDİYE SK's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Pierre-Loup Berthelot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre-Loup Berthelot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pierre-Loup Berthelot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Hegedus Henrik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Balazs Lajos came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balazs Lajos couldn't finish the play.
