Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Boone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Gilberto Boone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takacs Tibor to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Seth Luke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 11th minute of play. Fodor Daniel had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernardo Goudreau from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Boone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 25th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Varennes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hungary's Vörös Henrik to fire away a dangerous shot which Gilberto Boone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Varennes's Gilberto Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Varennes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurice Odonnell. After having played for 39 minutes, Seth Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seth Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Varennes's zone, Takacs Tibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Boone came out of the goal and Takacs Tibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes the free kick. After 47 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. In the 48th minute, Donovan Nash hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurice Odonnell in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takacs Tibor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Varennes made a substitution. Titus Pineda replaced Bernardo Goudreau. In the 65th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Odonnell to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Varennes's Gilberto Boone. Gilberto Boone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Varennes were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Théophile Berger took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Seth Luke got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to Varennes getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Quincy Loyd hit a great ball. Major Barna took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Boone. Gilberto Boone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Boone having to interfere. Gilberto Boone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Titus Pineda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurice Odonnell's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Takacs Tibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seth Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Varennes to leave the ground with a draw.
