After some careless play in the ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ defense, Sigfrido Auletta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Zanette. The ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Zanette should have stopped the shot. After the first half Italy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 59th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaccheo Andolina to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Zanette couldn't finish the play. Guilherme Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 85th minute of play. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. In the 88th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Siricio Liotta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Siricio Liotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guiscardo Davide got free with Guilherme Zanette in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th minute, Adriano Curto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ throughout the match.
