Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by David Rusil. In the 11th minute, József Albert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cremonese FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Erik Jilek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cremonese FC's Dráusio Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Svatopluk Capek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Cremonese FC. József Albert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vavrinec Holub. 0-3. In the 28th minute, Svatopluk Capek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Dida Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when József Albert came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Cosme in the 38th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Tróia in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Cremonese FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Cremonese FC's Alfredão Cosme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 54 minutes into the game, Dalimil Charvat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dráusio Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Czech Republic. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dida Tróia in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cremonese FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes Cremonese FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Jilek who took care of the corner kick. Czech Republic's Erik Jilek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dráusio Ortiz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Jilek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cremonese FC made a substitution. Valdo Ramalho replaced József Albert. When Cléber Valle came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cremonese FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléber Valle couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Batista. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Batista got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredão Cosme could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Vavrinec Holub however easily saved by the left post. Czech Republic's Denis Dostal got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Cremonese FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Czech Republic.
