FC Zestafoni
Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. FC Zestafoni's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatius Casasola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Pedrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 8th minute of play forced FC Zestafoni's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ignatius Casasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, FC Zestafoni's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Calistrat Macarie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zestafoni and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Calistrat Macarie kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ignatius Casasola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 40th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Ignatius Casasola. FC Zestafoni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calistrat Macarie to make the kick off. When Mathijn Doctor fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Mathijn Doctor a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. In the 51st minute, Jan-Erik Magnusson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Netherlands's Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move. Egbert Nijveldt lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherlands fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC Zestafoni a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jan-Erik Magnusson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. 1-3. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Jan-Erik Magnusson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Ignatius Casasola threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ignatius Casasola made a huge save. After 74 minutes FC Zestafoni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Zestafoni's Ignatius Casasola did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ignatius Casasola. That made the score 1-4 after 76 minutes of play. FC Zestafoni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored to the left of an out of position Ignatius Casasola, making the score, 1-5. FC Zestafoni's Uta Sulaberidze was substituted for Alastair Burnham. Ignatius Casasola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 87th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FC Zestafoni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Macarie didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. The FC Zestafoni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
