Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrinho Hoffmann started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Pedrinho Hoffmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Atlético-PR's Dorival Barral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Hoffmann came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Márcio Cruz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Oswaldo Paraíba in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! Fodor Daniel had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Dorival Barral's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Oswaldo Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Oswaldo Paraíba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hegedus Henrik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswaldo Paraíba having to make a save. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Hoffmann came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Major Barna to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Pedrinho Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Pedrinho Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oswaldo Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 59th minute of the match. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Oswaldo Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 62nd minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Atlético-PR's Oswaldo Paraíba. Oswaldo Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atlético-PR's Hong Jian Fan was substituted for Pedrinho Hoffmann. Atlético-PR made a substitution. Yang Ke Xun replaced Márcio Cruz. In the 84th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Atlético-PR's goalie and right to Takacs Tibor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Atlético-PR's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Oswaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 86th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Hong Jian Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
