With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olívio Ribas in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Italy booed when FC Fura Balizas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Lameirinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
