After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Tanek Walczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Tanek Walczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Francisco Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANAHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Ibañez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Ponc took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Korkut Sinan made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tanek Walczyk. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Firmin Négrel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Tanek Walczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanek Walczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Tanek Walczyk could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. After 47 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Vicente who took care of the corner kick. Damian Vicente made a great header on ANAHA FC's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Firmin Négrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 51st minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Éluard Plantade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Frank Sachs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Firmin Négrel. The goal made the score 2-1. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 87th minute. Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Firmin Négrel having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ANAHA FC had won after a very even match.
