The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yves Dervaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Jacob Albuquerque tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casper Claes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 17 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Hargrave came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to KaoS Futbol Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Benicio Hartz hit a great ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Albuquerque in the 39th minute of play. Jacob Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Noe came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Noe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. KaoS Futbol Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Pierluigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierluigi Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 61st minute of the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Noe, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Noe in the 67th minute of play. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jacob Albuquerque sped through Belgium's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casper Claes. After 70 played minutes KaoS Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Lluis Companys. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Lebas's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon. Pierluigi Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89th play minutes Edward Vanderstraeten shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Pierluigi Buffon and just under the crossbar into goal. 93 minutes into the game, Siebe Michiels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KaoS Futbol Club the free kick. Siebe Michiels kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Lebas in the 96th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
