The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beto Rodríguez made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Vicente Merino sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, SIMvergüenzas's Midas Ladra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Omar Toledos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Beto Rodríguez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Midas Ladra in the 21st minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sugih Linggawarman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Beto Rodríguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 32nd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. SIMvergüenzas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Spain were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after SIMvergüenzas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon Cubero took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Carles Cherro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Spain's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
