The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Toledo got free with Roch Cieslak in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Omar Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adria Bielsa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Cieslak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Voinescu came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Cieslak made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when David Aranda sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Criado made a great header on Spain's corner, it was just that FC Luck's Roch Cieslak managed to reach the ball for a save. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Voinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Roch Cieslak made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Omar Toledo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 37th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Voinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Narcis Voinescu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Spain's Gabriel Ascaso. Gabriel Ascaso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sever Patriciu was the one to do the kick off. Roch Cieslak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Luck's Claudiu Creteanu got a free kick in the 56th minute. Adria Bielsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Logofătu. Roch Cieslak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Aranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Spain booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Logofătu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Logofătu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Herrero in the 87th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes FC Luck's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jon Cubero who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Spain's corner Jon Cubero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roch Cieslak quite easily take care of the ball. FC Luck's Roch Cieslak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Herrero in the 91st minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Spain players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
