Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael van der Vaart. When Thomas Grandison came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Glasston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Grandison couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stein. The supporters of Glasston booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jagger Trevena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mete Golobs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Rafael van der Vaart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Mete Golob made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael van der Vaart in the 52nd minute of play. Mete Golob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Carlton Convine made a huge save. Glasston's attentive Bengt-Rune Rolfsson managed to snatch the ball when Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Rolfsson in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Golob came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mete Golob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mete Golob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 78th minute of play forced Glasston's goalkeeper Carlton Convine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes Glasston's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Rune Rolfsson went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Carlton Convine made a huge save. If Bengt-Rune Rolfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Glasston had played much better football throughout.
