Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maicon Abreu started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Filip Felenak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute, Maicon Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Filip Felenak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maicon Abreu in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Maicon Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Felenak in the 32nd minute of play. Adilson de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Abreu in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Abreu in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Silvan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Floris Claeys made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Red Dragon FC - DMZ's João Vítor Trevisan. 54 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maicon Abreu. In the 55th minute, João Vítor Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's João Vítor Trevisan got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Adilson de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Red Dragon FC - DMZ defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adilson de Amorim. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson de Amorim should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Felenak in the 65th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Floris Claeys in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Red Dragon FC - DMZ's João Vítor Trevisan. Adilson de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, João Vítor Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Abreu in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Abreu came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Red Dragon FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Thiago Silvan hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Robinho Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Red Dragon FC - DMZ defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adilson de Amorim. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson de Amorim should have stopped the shot. Maicon Abreu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adilson de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
