Sigfrido Auletta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Orlandus having to interfere. Zaccheo Andolina in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcial Orlandus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sigfrido Auletta might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Orlandus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sigfrido Auletta ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Marcial Orlandus however easily saved by the left post. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 24th minute of the match. Angelino Clemencin might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Clemencin ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Marcial Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Zena Busacca quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sebastian Pinto, made in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Paulo Pierres notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastian Pinto hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marcial Orlandus to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Pierres made a kick off. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Orlandus having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Marcial Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Pierres got free with Flavio Vittori in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 60th minute of play. Angelino Clemencin took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus. Marcial Orlandus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sebastian Pinto, made in the 71st minute of the game. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Clemencin. In the 78th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Pierres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Vittori. That made the score 2-3 in the 79 minute of play. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Pierres in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88thth minute of the game Paulo Pierres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 89th minute of the match. Marcial Orlandus came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Guanacos's Eustaquio Martxelin was substituted for Danilo Sanchez. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Guiscardo Davide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Italy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Guanacos to leave the ground with a draw.
