Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raimundo Feliu quite easily take care of the ball. Raimundo Feliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Feliu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Raimundo Feliu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Nofre in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes Atlético Argentino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Pastor Nofre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo Feliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 34th minute of play. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Vitor Tejedor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vitor Tejedor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitor Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eufemio Yabbarov who took care of the corner kick.
The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Nofre in the 51st minute of play. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Feliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Pastor Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vázquez in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 64th minute of play forced Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Argentino from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Vitor Tejedor took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Argentino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Argentino from getting a goal against them. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Raimundo Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Argentino's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
