Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genaro Sindo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 13thth minute of the game Radamel-Falcao García who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Benedetto in the 14th minute of the match. Radamel-Falcao García scored 2-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes La Cienaga got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Gartzea. In the 27th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. La Cienaga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Genaro Sindo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the La Cienaga defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Sindo. The La Cienaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Sindo should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Sander Dermaut. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Botello came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Benedetto to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Alonzo Botello notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st match minute, La Cienaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Lopez to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Radamel-Falcao García sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, La Cienaga's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Genaro Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radamel-Falcao García got free with Casper Claes in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Sindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Benedetto in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siebe Michiels might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Sindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siebe Michiels ran back to his position shaking his head. La Cienaga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
