Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hannes Ström. Bertil Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertram Svenningsen in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Hellgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Svante Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ian Lundin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ian Lundin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Chris Nygaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertil Hellgren having to make a save. Leo Kling came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Keld Paulsen could save by the left post. Keld Paulsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henry Hjortberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. Leo Kling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Hjortberg to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Hjortberg came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Denmark's Chris Nygaard tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Hjortberg in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertil Hellgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Svante Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Henry Hjortberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Färnäs booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Hellgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Leo Kling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Henry Hjortberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Henry Hjortberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. In the 88thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Färnäs's Bertil Hellgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mikkel Wulff. Svante Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
