Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Alessio Borrelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Delfines made a substitution. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Ascencio came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
