Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Senna kicked off to start the match. When Nadir Yalvaç fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbulls's protests and gave Nadir Yalvaç a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aleksander Giec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Senna came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. After having played for 24 minutes, Zeng Chong Kang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. istanbulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeng Chong Kang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Luís Senna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeng Chong Kang during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. istanbulls were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İsmail Doğa took the corner. istanbulls's İsmail Doğa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. When Zeng Chong Kang came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the istanbulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeng Chong Kang couldn't finish the play. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Rothberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolf Rothberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Rolf Rothberg made the kick off in the second half. When istanbulls's Luís Senna in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. İsmail Doğa was slow to take the kick. During this time istanbulls's players had a chance to rest. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Göksel Canfeda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Rothberg in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Germany got a corner. istanbulls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulrich Stein ran over to the corner to take the kick. 69 minutes into the match, istanbulls's Luís Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Germany's Rolf Rothberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Göksel Canfeda. That made the score 1-1 after 74 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Senna in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After 81 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. In the 83rd minute, Alp Enginalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Germany booed when istanbulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haldun Özol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alp Enginalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Ferdi Coşan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Senna in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksel Canfeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. istanbulls's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
