In the 12th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Hannes Ström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Svante Johnsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Khalid Kennedy, 1-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Färnäs's goalkeeper Bertil Hellgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Kyle Cox was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Färnäs the free kick. Bertil Hellgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Hannes Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Hellgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Leighton Davies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the Färnäs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Leighton Davies. If Issac Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Cox in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Hellgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. Micah Macdonald made a great header on England's corner, it was just that Färnäs's Bertil Hellgren managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Ström in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. In the 60th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quinn Holmes to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Micah Macdonald could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Bertil Hellgren however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Quinn Holmes hit a great ball. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Kyle Cox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertil Hellgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bertil Hellgren was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Seth Young capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Seth Young really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Bertil Hellgren in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bertil Hellgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 93 minutes, Hannes Ström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Färnäs and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Kyle Cox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertil Hellgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched England eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
