After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Zeng Chong Kang got a free kick in the 11th minute. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alp Enginalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Giec struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for istanbulls. In the 22nd match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haldun Özol to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in istanbulls's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göksel Canfeda came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göksel Canfeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 38th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göksel Canfeda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after istanbulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Göksel Canfeda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luís Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alp Enginalp in the 52nd minute of the match. Göksel Canfeda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Major Barna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. In the 55th minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes istanbulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After 59 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Göksel Canfeda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 66th minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Göksel Canfeda. The goal made the score 0-3. Göksel Canfeda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 76th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Göksel Canfeda, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Göksel Canfeda in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Canfeda having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 87 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göksel Canfeda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after istanbulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary played a much better game than istanbulls and deserved their victory. The istanbulls players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
