An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 4th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Menios Chloros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Nedim Emekli. Menios Chloros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nedim Emekli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Chloros having to interfere. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Chloros having to interfere. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Menios Chloros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menios Chloros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Mean Machine were awarded a corner. Nikos Stasinos went to the cornerflag to take it. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Menios Chloros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Carles Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedim Emekli in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 61stth minute of the game Nedim Emekli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Menios Chloros made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Mean Machine's Luca Milivojević was substituted for Lakis Mantarinakis. The corner led Hungary's Major Barna to fire away a dangerous shot which Menios Chloros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mean Machine's Daniil Bonoris managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Szekeres Tamas in the 68 minute of the game. Menios Chloros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 71st minute. If Nedim Emekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jared Blum hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's Nedim Emekli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Menios Chloros in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Hegedus Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Menios Chloros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 85th minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mean Machine's Menios Chloros did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Katona Janos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Menios Chloros. That made the score 1-2 after 86 minutes of play. The Mean Machine fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
