Pankracy Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Outsiders's Csaba Szeszák got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Klimkiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 31 minutes, Krisztián Kondor mouthed his way into the referee's book. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Pankracy Klimkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off.
