Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Qian Kang Bin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bogumil Ankiewicz who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Rezurekcja Gomulin getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Iwo Burowski hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stasio Brodzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rezurekcja Gomulin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which David Eikelkamp managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 18 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stasio Brodzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stasio Brodzki having to make a save. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Rezurekcja Gomulin got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Czajka. In the 28th minute, Bogumil Ankiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qian Kang Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stasio Brodzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Qian Kang Bin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rezurekcja Gomulin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qian Kang Bin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stasio Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 44th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Wieslaw Czajka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rezurekcja Gomulin and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Rezurekcja Gomulin got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Czajka. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qian Kang Bin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Qian Kang Bin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Qian Kang Bin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Rezurekcja Gomulin's Stasio Brodzki got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Rezurekcja Gomulin getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Wieslaw Czajka hit a great ball. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 65th minute. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Stasio Brodzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qian Kang Bin in the 75th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qian Kang Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qian Kang Bin in the 83rd minute of play. Stasio Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 84th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Stasio Brodzki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qian Kang Bin in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. The supporters of Rezurekcja Gomulin booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Mooiweer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Rezurekcja Gomulin's Beniamin Jekot made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
